Ice Skating in Downtown Los Angeles Until Jan. 21

The 10th installment of the Pershing Square Ice rink continues until Jan. 21. There’s still plenty of time left to skate and enjoy the activities at the L.A. High-end Los Angeles Real Estate Prices Up

There is no downturn in high-end Los Angeles real estate. L.A.’s affluent neighborhoods where the money is such as Brentwood and Westwood and costal Laguna and Newport Beach are up substantially this year.

Here is how some Los Angeles neighborhoods are doing:

  • The Hollywood Hills up 26% to a median price of more than $2.1 million

    Medieval Exhibit at J. Paul Getty Museum Los Angeles California

    The J. Paul Getty Museum is hosting an exhibit on loan from the Cleveland Musuem of Art until January 20.     Strong Winds for Los Angeles New Year’s Eve and Day

    A red flag warning to indicate a high risk of wildfire was issued by the National Weather Service.

    Th red flag warning will be in effect in Los Angeles and Ventura counties from noon Monday until 6 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. The warning goes into effect at 11 a.m. Monday and expire at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Orange, San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
