Los Angeles – Long Beach US Coast Guard blog

The weather is getting hot. Of course, on the summers hot days there’s no better place to spend your time than on the beach or on a boat. For those of you that plan to boat, I recommend that you check out the The United States Coast Guard’s Sector Los Angeles – Long Beach blog. The offical weblog provides provides information concerning Coast Guard operations, missions, functions, and responsibilities which include providing search and rescue, marine safety, security, and environmental protection throughout the harbors and waters of California.

Some of the Regulations that you can learn about as as follows:

Stay Clear of Pilot Operating Areas.

Don’t Impede Vessels in Narrow Channels.

Maintain a Proper Lookout.

Maintain a Proper Radio Watch.

Vessels operating too close to a large vessel and impeding their safe passage are considered to be negligently operated.

    There are lots of beautiful beaches on the north and south of Los Angeles. Los Angeles is a very famous place in California. People love to spend their whole day on the beaches. Its very cool atmosphere on the beach.

    While I enjoy Zuma, the idea of driving up the coast to Big Sur is probably at the top of my list.
